![]() ![]() I have about 30 hours in both and honestly, CEO is much better nowadays. I've played both, Airport CEO is more complex and in-depth than SimAirport. Haven't played Airport CEO, but it never looked as advanced as SimAirport to me. The point is, as long as you know what settings to adjust, the range of hardware this sim can run on is immense…despite what people on this forum would have you believe. SimAirport is far more advanced than SkyHaven. Both run the game without stutters, albeit with a fair amount of in-game tuning and below FHD resolutions. System 2 is an Intel 2400 series CPU and a 1030 GPU (2GB VRAM), system age is probably closer to 12 years old, I don’t even know. System 1 is a laptop with an Intel 4700 series CPU and an M770 GPU (3GB VRAM), 9 years old. Perhaps most important is that we deliver. ![]() LOD and traffic affect CPU (“main thread”), and basically everything else, especially resolution scaling, affect the GPU.Ĭredentials: I have the sim installed on both of my boys’ systems, in addition to my own rig. Youll find us on the forums nearly every single day of the week. This sim can run on a potato if you know which settings do what. Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 GHz or better / AMD 3 GHz or better. All airlines have a unique fleet of airlines which the player is able to schedule. Whilst the player does not directly control airplanes, they can decide which airlines are allowed to operate in their airspace. For a long time I suspected the rolling cache, which is why it is still deactivated. Airplanes are aircraft that transport passengers to and from an airport. Ok cool, and just to clarify, make sure your photgrammetry is on, and all of your traffic settings are as high as you want them to be (mine are all maxed out), and all of your other GPU-bound settings (everything EXCEPT LOD) are set at max before you start tweaking your LOD and GPU settings, then go up or down from that as a baseline. For weeks now I have tried out all the tips, tricks, proposed solutions and other workarounds on the subject of Stuttering and found a simple solution for myself. ![]()
